Professor Margaret Kartomi

Congratulations on the publication of your book on the Mandailing tulila. It is an interesting, well-crafted study…based on close organological observation and musical transcription.

Professor Margaret Kartomi, a specialist on the ethnomusicology of Indonesia and Southeast Asia, and the world authority on the music of Sumatra at the Arts Faculty, Monash University, Australia.
